This Privacy Policy explains how Lightstick Controller (hereinafter "LSCon" or "the App") handles user information.
2. Basic Policy
This App respects user privacy and strives to protect personal information. All data created by users, such as scores and setlists, is stored locally on the device and is never automatically transmitted to any server. Technical information about BLE devices is only sent when the user explicitly initiates the action (see Section 3.2).
3. Information We Collect
3.1 Information Collected Directly by the App
This App stores the following data only on your device. No data is transmitted to external servers.

3.2 Information Sent by User Action
Through the "Device Information Submission" feature in Settings, the following BLE device technical information is sent to the developer's server only when the user explicitly presses the send button. No automatic transmission is performed.

RevenueCat (In-App Purchase Management)
- Data collected: Anonymous app user ID, purchase history, device type
- Purpose: Subscription management and restoration

4. Use of Bluetooth
This App uses BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) to communicate with penlight devices.
- Purpose: Controlling the color, brightness, and patterns of penlights
- Communication content: Color data (RGB values), brightness values, pattern instructions
- Location data: Due to iOS specifications, BLE scanning requires location permission; however, this App does not collect, store, or transmit location data. The Android version does not request location permission.
5. Data Sharing
This App does not share user data with third parties except in the following cases:
- Score export: When the user explicitly performs an export operation, score data is generated as a JSON file. The user chooses the sharing destination.
- Legal requests: When there is a legitimate request based on applicable laws.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
- All data is stored on your device and can be completely deleted by removing the App.
- Connection history can be individually deleted through Settings > Data Management > Clear Connection History within the App.
- Subscription information is managed by Apple or Google and can be managed through your respective account settings.
7. Children's Privacy
This App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
8. App Tracking Transparency
This App does not track users. It does not request ATT (App Tracking Transparency) permission.
9. Security
Since user data is stored only on the device, the device's own security features (passcode, Face ID, etc.) serve as the primary means of data protection. We recommend configuring your device security settings appropriately.
10. Changes to This Policy
If this policy is changed, users will be notified within the App and the last updated date will be revised.
